The technician came out the same day I called and was professional. Unfortunately, a crucial part of our 25-year-old furnace was obsolete, so a complete furnace replacement was necessary. Although this wasn't what I was hoping for, they provided me with a fair estimate and worked quickly to replace the furnace. Our heating has never worked better, and I will definitely be calling Brent's for any future service work.

We were notified by my 86 year old father-in-law that his heat was out at approximately 11:30 PM. We called the emergency number and spoke to Adam. He arrived within the hour. He isolated the problem and had to run to get parts twice. He remained there until approximately 4:30 AM to ensure that the repair was working. I called for HVAC advice and solutions to an issue I was having. I spoke to Mitch, who is the Owner. Pretty neat to speak directly to an owner of the company. Anyway, Mitch listened and provided thoughtful solutions that I should try. He was very descriptive and knowable. He was also very patient with me as I do not know a lot of about this type of work. Next time I need help or am ready to purchase a HVAC system, I’ll look to Brent’s first.

Great service! Our heat went out in the middle of the night, called at 6AM, had someone out here by 7:30, ended up getting a whole new furnace (23 year furnace) laid out two different options and we choose to do a new furnace.
Keep me updated how long it would take and they were throughly tidy and cleaned up well after the job!

I contacted Brent’s Heating & Cooling in need of maintenance/ice removal on my Mitsubishi Split-System Heat Pump, along with replacing a couple of thermostats. Everyone I dealt with was professional, patient, and answered all questions...explaining the worst & best case scenarios. The service tech that came to the house was professional, explained everything he was doing, walked us thru the new thermostats, and how to keep the heat pump from icing up. I would highly recommend giving them a call.

While being told that you need a new furnace is not a very good experience, Mitch, and the crew from Brent's went out of their way to make the process smooth, professional, and comfortable. We recently hired Brent’s to install a Mitsubishi air conditioner/heat pump at our home. The whole experience was very positive. The unit cools the upper floor of our home quietly and effectively. We have a small cabin that had an old forced air furnace for heating with very little ductwork in the house. We were using window air conditioners for cooling. We had Mitch come out to give us some options for a new system. He recommended a ductless heat pump system that will heat and cool the house. We have a 2 story cabin and with this new system we can control the temperature of both levels separately! We decided to go ahead with his proposal, and within 1 week they were ready to install. Scott and Steve were the techs that installed our new system. They did a great job! Neat install, careful to keep the work area clean and ready to answer any questions we had. We are very happy with Brent's and highly recommend them for your heating and cooling needs!

I’m a new homeowner and admittedly know very little about the heating and cooling world. I called Brent’s and was so impressed with the service right out of the gate—they were friendly, spoke to me like a human, and addressed my problem. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience! Moving from fuel oil to natural gas was always in the cards but became a reality when my fuel oil furnace started leaking fuel oil all over my floor. I was in a sheer panic when I called the emergency line on a Sunday afternoon. It was still relatively warm out and he recommended coming out early the next morning so as not to charge me an emergency fee. I knew I was in good hands then.
Sure enough, my old furnace was done for. A week later, I have a brand new high efficiency natural gas furnace (and a new water heater!) and I couldn't be happier. They took the remaining fuel oil in the tank, the tank itself, the old furnace, and the old water heater so I didn't have to worry about any of it. The guys got the job done in roughly five hours despite being told a day and a half! They are quick and efficient, super friendly, and a joy to work with. 10/10 would recommend.

Brent's did an excellent job! During my yearly inspection with the City of Duluth Comfort Systems, my furnace was "red tagged" for a cracked heat exchanger on my Trane furnace. Because it is potentially dangerous (risk of Carbon Monoxide), the furnace was immediately disconnected. This left me with no heat in October. When I called Brent's, they were great! Brent's offered me space heaters until they could come out to fix the problem. They moved things around on their schedule so they could come out to quickly to fix my furnace. They did a great job with the repair as well. They were professional and very courteous. I am very grateful for their help!

We had a Lennox high efficiency furnace. One of the other "reputable" companies in town told us that annual inspections weren't needed for the type of furnace we had. After seeing a news story on a carbon dioxide leak, I decided to dig deeper. I called Brents and was finally given accurate information regarding "maintenance free" furnaces- the life expectancy of such units ...and what we could expect in the future given the age of the unit. Needless to say, we decided to get a new unit, and a new hot water heater as it was just a matter of time before it broke down and purged itself of water onto my carpeted basement floor. We called several places for estimates. Brent's philosophy, willingness to understand our needs, pricing and professionalism helped us to make the decision to go with Brent's after some careful deliberation. I'm extremely satisfied with the outcome! Super professional, honest and fair pricing have made our family a fan. Our new furnace is quiet and super efficient. Our on demand water heater takes up no space, will never leak while the savings in our utility bills makes me smile every month. All in all, couldn't be happier! Good job to the folks at Brents- you're the best!

Our control panel gave out (almost 5 years old but still under warranty) and they came out the same day that I called and replaced it for free. We needed our humidifier cleaned and filter changed as well as some other light maintenance on the furnace, so they came back the next day with the parts and did the work. Mitch was polite and professional, and the price was very fair.
It's starting to get cold so I couldn't be more pleased with Brent's!

We called a local company we have used for 10 years and they told us to call someone else because they couldn't figure out what was causing the no heat problem despite replacing 3 parts. We called Brent's Heating and explained we still had intermittent no heat. Mitch came out, went through the entire furnace, explained everything, and found the control board was bad. In the past I had some work done with Brent's Heating & Cooling when it was still owned by Brent Belich. My experience was painful. New ownership took over in Feburary and the office manager read my review of old Brent's and called me to see if there was anything she could help me resolve. She called Brent Belich and got an ongoing issue I had with him resolved. It was going above and beyond since I wasn't even their customer.
